About Me

My purpose is to be a catalyst in helping empower clients to achieve wellness of their mind, body, spirit using the tools I have acquired in alternative and holistic healthcare, and integrative medical massage.

I love learning about health and wellness! I grew up in a family that was very much into mind/body/spirit connections. I am excited to bring my knowledge and experience to help my friends, family and clients. I am excited to do what I love and help others in the process.

I recently graduated from SHI Integrative Medical Massage School out of Lebanon, Ohio. I am licensed in Ohio by the State Medical Board and nationally by the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork. I am also a member of AMTA (American Massage Therapy Association). I am currently certified and providing Swedish, Deep Tissue, CranioSacral, TMD (Temporomandibular Joint Dysfunction), and Muscle Energy Technique for Iliosacral and Sacroiliac Assessment and Dysfunction. I am interested in learning more about Kinesio-taping, Cupping Therapies, Prenatal Massage, Lymph Drainage and so much more.

During a treatment session sometimes clients come in with a specific area that they feel, or know, needs attention. Sometimes you just come for a relaxation massage. As a Massage Therapist, I let your body do the talking. By placing my hands on your muscles, they have a story to tell, and can lead me to areas that need more or less attention. I also love to incorporate CranioSacral techniques into all of my sessions. By working with the CranioSacral System you can give your body a chance to reset, or let go of, anything that you may be holding onto, this could be physically in your muscular system or emotionally something you are holding onto, known or unknown.

In 2011 I graduated from Miami University with a Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology and Health with a 4.0 in my major. But I didn't start out there. I started out as an American Studies Major, unclear and unsure of who I was and what I wanted to be about. To make a long story short, through the clarity process of life, and a beautiful baby girl later, I realized that my joy and passion was in Wellness Care.
